Erasmus+ AI4Good Project Strengthens Cybersecurity Skills of UE Katowice Students

The University of Economics in Katowice continues to strengthen the digital competences and cybersecurity awareness of its students through the Erasmus+ AI4Good – Supporting School Teacher Training in AI project. As part of the initiative coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Bożena Frączek, PhD and Jan Kaczmarzyk PhD, 70 students from the Financial Analyst 2.0 programme have been granted access to ISACA’s Cybersecurity Fundamentals training and certification programme. The programme provides students with an opportunity to develop practical knowledge and skills in cybersecurity, risk management, data protection, and digital resilience. By combining academic learning with internationally recognised certification, the initiative helps prepare students for the challenges of the digital economy and the evolving labour market. This activity reflects the broader mission of the AI4Good project, which focuses on promoting digital skills, increasing understanding of artificial intelligence, and encouraging the safe and responsible use of technology in education and beyond. The project is implemented by the University of Economics in Katowice in cooperation with ISACA Europe and SABA School under the Erasmus+ programme.
